We worked about half a day on Sunday. As nice as the weather was when we first arrived, Sunday was the antithesis! It was foggy, drizzly, windy, and bitterly cold. We worked as much as we could, but the weather ended up sending us home to wring out our wet clothes and pray for better weather.
Hard to believe this is the same panorama shot that I took on the very first day and posted to the blog! Same position same beach, same island, but very different weather!
Among the things that the students have had to adapt to is the idea that not everyone has a clothes drier. I must admit, hanging your clothes out to dry in one of the wettest places I’ve ever been has been a challenge. Nothing like watching your clothes get more wet while attempting to dry them.
